Named in honor of ASNM past president Dr. Mark Stecker’s mother, The ASNM’s Mary Stecker Fund and Award was created to assist relatively new practitioners of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) to attend the Society’s Annual Meeting each year. Dr. Stecker understood the importance of sponsoring those new to the field of IONM and wanted the educational and networking value of the ASNM Annual Meeting to be made more accessible to such practitioners.

Ali is a skilled IONM technologist with experience supporting a wide range of surgical procedures. At Seastnan, she contributes to patient safety by delivering consistent, high-quality neuromonitoring across multiple hospital settings.
