Taylor earned both her undergraduate and master's degrees from Fort Hays State University, where she was also a collegiate volleyball athlete. Her academic background provided her with a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology, including hands-on experience studying and teaching cadaver anatomy. Through her education and clinical experiences, she developed a deep appreciation for the complexity of the nervous system and discovered a passion for intraoperative neuromonitoring. She is especially drawn to advanced cases, including craniotomies and spinal cord tumor surgeries, where neuromonitoring plays a critical role to help protect neurological function and support optimal patient outcomes. These experiences have shaped her dedication to the field and continue to fuel her passion for working alongside surgical teams in some of the most complex and challenging cases. While not in the OR, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, doing yoga with her friends, and trying new foods!
